Hello,
I’ve started a new blog which essentially is a production diary of the things I will be making. These will mainly be films. It’s started as part of a project for uni but is now something I’d like to keep up. It will include photos, videos, storyboards etc. There isn’t much on there at the moment but there will be very soon! Here is a link if any of you would like to follow it: http://notesonfilmproject.tumblr.com/ and a thank you to anyone that does it will be useful to know your thoughts on what I will be posting.
I first saw this documentary on Valentines day with my boyfriend at Hyde Park Picture house. It was a very interesting day. We saw Katie Harkin from Sky Larkin and got chatting to her for a little bit about Patti and the American tour Sky Larkin had just come back from. We were slightly shy because we’re really fond of them.
Hyde Park Picture House was the perfect place to this movie. It is an incredibly beautiful documentary and was shot over 11 years. The editing of both the footage and sound makes it a very special experience. I’d never really seen a music documentary quite like this before.
A short video I made of the time my friends and I had at Bestival. It has a couple of shots of Bjork in there too, sneaky, sneaky.
I’m going to Bestival with some friends this weekend and there’s going to be a fancy dress competition. The theme is pop stars and rock stars but it’s hard to decide!
I saw Bridesmaids on Friday (late, I know) and I thought it was absolutely brilliant. All the cast were on form and Kristen Wiig is somewhat of a comedy master. You can tell a lot of it was improvised and it really pays off. I’m really pleased for the film’s massive success and the fact it’s still at cinemas now, beating The Hangover. It’s been ages I’ve seen a movie at the cinema, enjoyed every moment and looked forward to buying it on DVD the moment the credits rolled.
