New film production blog:
Hello,
I’ve started a new blog which essentially is a production diary of the things I will be making. These will mainly be films. It’s started as part of a project for uni but is now something I’d like to keep up. It will include photos, videos, storyboards etc. There isn’t much on there at the moment but there will be very soon! Here is a link if any of you would like...
A short video I made of the time my friends and I had at Bestival. It has a couple of shots of Bjork in there too, sneaky, sneaky.

Bestival
I’m going to Bestival with some friends this weekend and there’s going to be a fancy dress competition. The theme is pop stars and rock stars but it’s hard to decide!

I’m on a quest to watch all the films on the AFI top 100 list and on the BFI top 100 list and a million documentaries. However there’s this one little obstacle - ASSIGNMENTS!!!!

Fish Tank
I watched Fish Tank last night and was really impressed. It’s a film that could have easily cornered itself away into something predictable and one of those over-the-top-hey-i’m-Britsh-and-I’m-grimy films. Instead it remained honest with a humble film making approach, which in the end gave it its power. Lovely shots, great portrayal or a part of Britain and its inhabitants. This...

A beautiful sunbeam
my saintly dream
It’s all in your hands
two calm cloths
Ceilings see it all
The great unknown observer
this you truly know
No lashings out,
not one
just trophy arms
You’ll always be here
only differently
I adore you
I adore you
Ever so heavenly
My dearest Grandma, I will love and remember you forever. I love you moons and millions.

A thousand white lightening bolts under the sea
and I’m waiting to begin

Bee’s sting
Flowers in bloom
ink spots
black and blue
bleeding through
Then let go
fever glow
all in a balloon.

A boy has waited and waited and waited and he got his new kidney. This left him with a better body system, but which system put him like this? So lonely, sad, yellow and sick? And how must he digest all of this in one life time? From pale pink pajamas because his gown revealed him a boy, he was spun back into tshirts his sister chose for him and meals from his step mother. The doctor smiles...
Fight the good fight.
I dress myself in softness
and roll through the day
like a cat in a sun spot.
No more chunks of worry
just crumbs of a treat
that goes with tea.
Time to actually think
and feel that what you have thought.
What a wonderful day this Sunday has brought.
Productive.
Today I will be productive. Enlist things on ebay, apply to all the things I’ve been meaning to apply for and just generally apply effort.

Today I went up town and bought some cake ingredients and I also got 4 DVDs for £6 from a local charity shop. Cake seems to have worked out nicely - thanks to Mary Berry’s Ultimate Cake Book and I’m chuffed about the films and their tidy price of course!
I bought:
Notes On a Scandal - just finished watching it and thought it was brilliant. Judy Dench plays her character so well,...
